Health Insurance Claims Success
I contacted Linda after months (really, years!) of frustration
trying to get claims paid by my health plan. I’m in a very high
risk category for breast cancer and on an aggressive screening
routine. I am too young to meet the automatic qualifications for
mammograms and don’t fit the typical profile for breast MRIs.
After having both procedures approved (eventually) for several
years in a row, my health plan refused to approve a claim for an
MRI, about $10,000. I spent months trying to get them the
information needed and working with the hospitals and providers to
provide additional proof. Eventually, I had no other option but to
write an official appeal letter and hope that their medical review
board would see my side of the story. Linda coached me through the
letter and provided very specific instructions on what to include,
information that I had no idea about and would not have otherwise
known to include. And, the claim was approved! Thank you, Linda!
I’m confident that without her guidance, I would be taking legal
action against the plan.
Best, Jen
It's Never Too Late...
I have been very seriously ill with neurological Lyme Disease for 9 1/2 years. My LTD company, Prudential Disability Management, paid benefits to me for 3 years then terminated me due to "their experts determining that I had a psychological illness, not Lyme Disease" despite a multitude of evidence submitted by my doctors supporting my diagnosis of Lyme and testimony of disability, years of intensive treatments and several hospitalizations, and no history of any psychological problems.
I spent 6 years fighting for my disability. I went to the top medical professionals in the field of Lyme and Neuropsychology. Their tests and reports supporting my illness could fill a book. I also hired a top notch attorney who specializes in disability and labor law to help me put together my second appeal. I was still denied. I thought it was hopeless.
Then in November 2005 I hired Linda Nee to help me with my third and last appeal. Linda reviewed boxes full of documentation and got right to work. By January 2006, she had put together an incredible appeal package. In April 2006 I was awarded myt disability and was paid all back payments for the entire 6 years, was reinstated as an employee on LTD with my former employer, and all my benefits as an employee were reinstated. Linda advised me and helped me through the whole process.
In my case, Linda found 5 ERISA law violations and one Department of Insurance violation by Prudential. Linda knows the laws pertaining to
disability inside and out. As a former insider, she knows how the insurance
companies play their games to prevent having to pay legitimate claims and how to counter attack to force them to overturn their denial decisions. She knows what to say and what not to say, and her appeal letters and other communications are written in very impressive,
professional disability legalize.
No one should apply for disability without her guidance. It is important to know what to say and what not to say. I found this out the hard way. I wish I had found Linda right from the beginning. It would have saved me years of anguish, frustration and stress, not to mention having to struggle with no income and losing my insurance, while being very ill.
I am forever indebted to Linda for her incredible knowledge, dedication and caring. She was always available to me and went way beyond the call of duty to help me. She is truly a remarkable woman who has found her purpose in life and works diligently and tirelessly for the cause of helping people with debilitating illnesses to obtain their due disability benefits. She is a saint in my book. June 2006 Prudential Financial
A Reassessment Success
I wanted to take the opportunity to express my gratitude for your invaluable help in my
unbelievable journey with my Long Term Disability Claim with UNUMPROVIDENT. For the past three years I braved the reassessment process in attempting to provide credible and very reliable evidence that I "knew" would certainly have to be the "last time" UNUM could possibly treat me unfairly. However, I couldn't have been more wrong.
After awhile it became evident that it made absolutely no difference what I said or what I sent to UNUM to document my claim, and after arriving at the brink of bankruptcy, I called you back and asked for your help. You stated to me that you would do everything you could. I did everything you instructed and gathered all of the information I had collected myself to support my claim for benefits.
I was so impressed with your letter to UNUM outlining their violations and misrepresentations. I felt I had done that before but to no avail. Miraculously, my claim was approved within one month.
I thank you and pray that you will be able to help many others as you did me. 2006 UNUMProvident Reassessment
Passion makes an immediate difference...
It was immediately apparent that Linda Nee's experience, expertise, and passion make an tremendous difference when trying to navigate the often complicated and unscrupulous process of creating and maintaining a payable disability claim. Linda's services offer an incredible return of investment for individuals with an impairing disability that prevents them from working and living. Linda Nee makes the difference of getting paid due disability money. I wouldn't even pursue any disability claim without her!
Thank you, Linda! 2005 CIGNA
The Three C's.....
Caring, commitment and competency is how I can best explain Linda Nee's help when it came to my disability claim. Linda helped guide me through the extremely difficult process which included an "any occupation investigation", an IME, confusing paperwork and even being followed by a private investigator. Linda was there and prepared me every step of the way with a caring, committed and competent hand to lend.
She was extremely knowledgeable and relieved so much of my stress. This was very important to me as I am very sick and the stress that the insurance company created for me was exacerbating my already poor condition.
Linda was always available and easy to get in touch with. She answered any questions I had and gave me an extraordinary amount of personal attention. I would recommend Linda to anyone in need of a disability claims consultant. I told all of my doctors about how helpful she has been to me and gave them her number in case they had any patients in
similar situations. I felt so l lucky to have found her on the internet. It was the best thing I could have done. Her caring, competent and committed work saved my medical benefits and helped keep me going. 2006 UNUMProvident
Perseverance is the key.....
Dear Linda,
I don't know how I could ever thank you enough for all of the time and work you put into helping me obtain my long term disability benefits. Your experience in, and knowledge of the disability insurance field is priceless. If it weren't for you I don't know where my family and I would have eventually ended up. This past year and a half has taken its toll on me, and without you I probably would have given up, risking everything just to put it all behind me. The only regret that I have in utilizing your services is that I didn't do it sooner. I wish I had known you when I started my claim, before the first denial of benefits.
There were many times I though to myself, I hope Linda doesn't say, "I think we're just wasting our time", or, "this isn't going anywhere", and just give up. I am so grateful you didn't. With each obstacle the insurance company threw, you so calmly stated what the next step was that we needed to take. You are amazing. You care about the results. You treated my claim as if it were your own.
Please know that I would be happy to serve as a reference for you, should you ever need me. Rest assured, that should I ever come into contact with someone needing your services, I wouldn't hesitate to tell them to contact you. Sincerely, T. July 2006 Jefferson Pilot
I would like to thank you for your guidance...through the land mines
Dear Linda,
I would like to thank you for all of your guidance regarding my disability claim. There were so many land mines that I was able to avoid because of your wisdom and help. Your suggestions have always been above board and highly ethical. It was your understanding of the system and the pitfalls that made the smooth sailing possible. You said to me very early in our relationship, "Always be honest…but also be careful.” I would not have known what to be careful of without your guidance. As you know, because of your help to me and my confidence in your knowledge, I have made several referrals of friends and colleagues. I have invariably gotten notes and emails of thanks from them.
In a nutshell, if I had to have a one on one basketball game for my financial well being, would I go head to head against Michael Jordan, or would I hire a professional to go head to head against him. Please rest assured that the insurance company has a team of professionals continuing to evaluate claims to see how they can keep the money that is rightfully the claimants. A responsible claimant would have a comparable professional on his side as well. Linda Nee is that professional!
Again, thank you for your time, consideration and friendship. Even though we have never met, I feel you are indeed a close personal friend. Reliance Standard
I just wanted to express my gratitude...such valuable information
I just wanted to express to you my ultimate gratitude for all your guidance with my disability claim. Your experience and knowledge in the field of disability claims process and how to go about giving the insurance company necessary information was invaluable. Having honesty and integrity, I needed to know how to properly convey it. You successfully helped guide and navigate me through the paperwork, IME, surveillance and other situations that the insurance company is allowed to do during this process. You educated me from the beginning of what needed to be done with my claim to insure that the insurance company is accountable. I had a previous consultant and I had no idea of all the intricacies that needed to take place until I engaged your assistance. Your expertise was far superior of the process because of your first hand claim experience and knowledge. I am so grateful that I found you. You are incredible!
I was just on the cuff of getting an attorney involved and your information and counseling has been so helpful given where I was in my claim. Now I realize at that point and time it would have been detrimental to bring in an attorney at that point in my claim. You have been there every step of the way and your genuine care and passion for your business is so obvious and greatly appreciated.
While trying to deal with the physical pain of my condition and the emotional pain of having to give up a career, I knew you would be there to guide me along the way. This was just the opposite when I made calls to attorneys. They would at times not return my phone call for 3 days, or not at all. This just created more stress to be at the mercy of the insurance company and an attorney who I didn’t know if my call would be returned. Not with you!
You were always there every step of the way to help me. I can say with complete honesty that if I had not retained your services, this process would not have gone so smoothly. I had not only lost my job due to my impairment, but now dealing with the stress of an insurance company calling me to always fill out paperwork, barraging my doctors with paperwork. I never thought I would be dealing with surveillance and IME. To feel so awful and to have to deal with such nonsense was so stressful, but again you were there no matter what to help me through this very stressful time.
I can say from experience that once your claim has been approved by the insurance companies, don’t think that it will be smooth sailing and will be paid without continued challenges by the insurance company. You have to have someone on your side and that person should be Linda. I feel so blessed to have found her. She is by far the best in the industry! I would be happy to whole-heartedly recommend you to anyone going through this process. No professional should try to go this alone. Not only have you been the best in the industry with your knowledge, but you have been kind and caring. I thank you so much for being there for me. You are a very special lady! 2005 IDR
Thank you for saving my life.
Dear Linda,
I want to thank you for assisting me in receiving long term disability from my insurance carrier. Without your valuable advice, expertise and patience, I know that this would not have been possible.
This has been the most difficult time in my life. I could not accept the fact that I was unable to work and refused to file for long term disability. I kept thinking that my health was going to improve and that I would be able to “pick up where I left off”. But six months into it, a dear friend urged me to contact you so that I would avoid the pitfalls that his mother experienced with handling her disability claim on her own. That phone call to you saved my life.
A year later, I am still disabled and without your help I would have been in financial ruin and worse. You helped me protect myself so that I will be able to focus on my health and not on money.
Your services covered a wide range of areas that I wouldn’t have been able to handle on my own. You reviewed the lengthy and complicated disability policy and made it easily understood. You gave me general and specific guidelines regarding any verbal or written communication with the disability carriers and my employer. You helped me prepare the Claim for Disability Benefits form and prepared me for phone interviews. You provided invaluable advice on how I might guide my attending physicians on the verbiage they used in preparing forms and statements to the disability carrier.
Most importantly, you were always available (via email or phone) to discuss any problems along the way. Your sensitivity to people with disabilities is apparent, sending me reminders to complete forms and listening to my fears and concerns.
I would recommend anyone who is in the situation of having to file a disability claim to contact you immediately before taking even the first step or answering the first question. Your services were worth every penny and I am thankful for you. Anyone who will ask me how to go about the disability system, I will turn them over to you.
Thanks again and God Bless You. 2005 Met Life
Linda Nee, you are TRULY AWESOME!!.
Linda Nee, you are TRULY AWESOME!!. You always found time for me. You answered all of my emails and even sent me some out of concern. Heck, you even took the time to talk to me on the phone. You gave me some great advice. You educated me. Without your valuable help I was surely on my way to being another UNUM victim. I am forever grateful to you. I am better person for knowing you. I think of you often and where I would be if I did not see your "Declaration" on the internet. You are a courageous warrior. It's reassuring to know that there are still people like you watching people like me's backs. I hope that some day I can return a favor to you. If there is ever anything that I could do for you please ask. 2005 UNUM Life
