Testimonials:
Don’t Go It Alone…………ScottHi Linda... If
someone were to ask me for a reference about you and your
services, here is what I would tell them. The actual claim
process itself is not contained in the insurance policy so you
can't read it, or know anything about it! Unless you hire
someone like Linda who actually has worked the claims process
from both ends, representing the insurer for many years, and
then many years of representing the claimant you don't know what
you are up against. The reality is that the claim process is a
maze of events riddled with hurdles and pitfalls that are
designed to eliminate you from receiving benefits that you may
feel you are entitled too, and may very well be. However,
you have to navigate the claim process carefully and precisely,
or be disqualified. There are certain events that must
occur in a certain sequence, must be documented accordingly,
documents and letters to be produced, and all within certain
time restrictions. Essentially you have to be able to keep
track of a lot of details and perform to a certain level, or the
insurance company can deny or delay benefits that you are
counting on receiving. All of this is occurring at a time when
you are not feeling well to begin with. You feel so poorly
that you can't work and need some time off just to get treatment
and recuperate. You are emotionally, physically, and
mentally not at your best. This is not the time to be
taking on an insurance company with a complicated claim process
for which you have no knowledge of or experience in dealing
with. It isn't just, "here is my policy number, when do I
get my check?"... No, it is difficult, intimidating, complicated
processes for which you need an advocate to help you even
interpret what to do next. This is where Linda is at her best.
Her years of home office experience actually functioning in the
role of claim examiner gives her, not only give insight into the
insurance company's correspondence and actions, but it allows
you to prepare for what to do next. In many ways, it is as
if Linda is the coach of a football team and she has the other
teams play book.
Secondly, without exception, every letter the insurance
company has written to me or my physician requesting
information, contained requests and deadlines that they stated
that if the "demand" for information, or even interviews, were
not met by a certain date the claim would be denied. The problem
was that in every case, their demands either violated the terms
of their own policy, or they were demands that they were not
even entitled to ask for. Linda wrote numerous, prompt and
specific letters to the claims adjusters correcting their
actions and succeeded in getting those excessive demands
dropped. Her intervention slowed down the aggressive pace
of the insurance company and kept them playing by the rules, by
the policy rules. Without Linda I would have been
anxiously running around trying to be a "good policy holder"
agreeing to anything they asked for hoping for a good outcome
and not knowing what was really going on. I don't mind sharing
that Linda has assisted me with one group policy and two
individual policies. All of which paid on time thanks to
Linda. When I got my first checks I sat in amazement, and
relief, because I knew that I could not have done it without
Linda's help. It simply would have been overwhelming for
me to complete everything on my own and on time. What
would have been more likely is that I would have messed the
whole thing up and wound up with three denial letters instead of
three checks. Yes, the claims process is complex, and the
insurance company is filled to the brim with people trying to
figure out how to keep from sending you your benefits check...
it just makes sense to have a former insider on your side.
Linda is a real value and delivers results. The claim process on
the other hand is scary and designed to deny your benefits...
DON'T TRY IT ALONE! Unum 2010
Father of the Bride – Thanks………….Frank Friday
night, my bride and I celebrated victory at our favorite pizza
place. My daughter is getting married in April and now I can
help her have the awesome wedding she is so worthy of. All
of these things are because of YOU! Linda you change people’s
lives and help the little guy against an insurance monster that
destroys lives and families with a easy keystroke.
Fighting against the profit driven insurance companies
requires help. Policyholders are at their mercy and in a
profit driven environment there is nothing but greed. The
little guy always loses...... unless Linda Nee is at the table.
There is no doubt in my mind had I written my appeal without
assistance, it would have been declined in a New York minute.
Still, you were firm and told me to keep the faith.
As downtrodden as I was with the barrage of medical problems,
constant pain and depression, your steady confidence gave me
hope. I am so very, very grateful to you. Keep doing what
you do to save lives and families... You are awesome and
we thank you! Unum 2010
Thanks…………….Patrick Thanks for sending me a copy of
this letter. It just confirms why I continue to feel
grateful to have you on my side as an advocate and
representative. My wife and I realize how critical your
knowledge and understanding of the regulations, and associated
rules that pertain to the world of insurance companies can be in
giving claimants a fair chance. You are a rare and heroic
ally (I am not exaggerating) in the common person’s fight for
his/her due. Unum 2010 Website
Kudos………..and thanks! Please include me in your
electronic distribution list. Your site is one of my favorites.
Thank You for all your help and useful resources. I am an
ERISA LTD victim with Chronic Lyme Disease among other serious
health issues. I am entering my 10th year of fighting for due
benefits. I will continue all the way to the Supreme Court on
principle alone, no matter how long or how difficult the
journey. I fight for myself as well as the ones to proceed me...
It has been quite a journey and most challenging has been facing
the unfortunate reality of the dehumanizing and unscrupulous
policies and practices of an insurance company and its
employees; as well as ERISA and the navigation of its trenches,
where these insurers so shamelessly attempt to seek shelter.
Your site has some of the most useful information I have come
across in the last decade. It is also aesthetically serene in
both tone and design. It is informative, lovely and well
received; I thank you from my heart. I would be honored if
you could please add me to your distribution lists.
With deep gratitude for your service and dedication to people
who really need and appreciate it! Thanks for sharing.

Field Representative Counseling………Victoria We
called you today and you spoke with my husband and I concerning
his group long term disability. I just wanted to thank you so
much for taking your time and explaining things to my husband.
I have been so upset with the entire situation and the thought
of possibly losing our health, life and dental insurance.
We both felt better after talking to you. We really needed
your help and even though we were total strangers, you were so
gracious to take time to talk to us. He feels better
prepared for the meeting with Prudential next week. We will keep
you posted. Thanks so much! Prudential 2010
Frustrating Process…….Unum Group……Alan
I wish to commend and thank Linda Nee, and her company
Disability Claims Solutions, for her outstanding
professionalism, thorough knowledge of the world of disability
claims, and all the assistance she has provided me in dealing
with Unum insurance company and my disability claim. There is
no way I possibly would have been able to navigate through all
the claimant forms, questions, requests from Unum, IME's,
medical tests, and a myriad of other things that Linda assisted
me with. I would recommend Linda Nee to anyone who has a
disability claim, or is considering filing one, and I would urge
them to hire her without hesitation. The experiences I
have personally had with Unum have taught me to act on the side
of caution. Specifically, I had a very difficult, lengthy,
unprofessional IME requested by Unum, which Linda prepared and
assisted me with. She knows how to deal with claims adjustors,
supervisors, and disability insurance companies more effectively
than any claimant, or potential claimant ever could.
Knowledge is Power for IME……Unum Group…..John
It is my pleasure to offer a short testimonial for Linda Nee. I
started working with Linda when I was asked to attend an IME
requested by my LTD company. Linda’s grasp of the issues, her
knowledge of the industry and her professionalism in deal with
my insurer gave me so much confidence at a low time in my life.
I have found Linda very approachable, caring and conscientious.
I wholeheartedly recommend DCS, Inc.
It’s Never Too Late…..Prudential…..Elizabeth
I have been very seriously ill with neurological Lyme disease
for 9 ½ years. My LTD company, Prudential Disability Management,
paid benefits to me for 3 years then terminated me due to “their
experts determining that I had a psychological illness, not Lyme
Disease despite a multitude of evidence submitted by my doctors
supporting my diagnosis of Lyme and testimony of disability,
years of intensive treatments and several hospitalizations, and
no history of any psychological problems.I spent 6 years
fighting for my disability. I went to the top medical
professionals in the field of Lyme and Neuropsychology. Their
tests and reports supporting my illness could fill a book. I
also hired a top notch attorney who specializes in disability
and labor law to help me put together my second appeal. I was
still denied. I thought it was hopeless. Then I hired Linda
Nee as a Disability Income Professional to assist me with my
last appeal. After reviewing boxes of information Linda and I
put together a dynamite appeal and my benefits were reinstated
with retroactive payment of benefits to 2006. No one should
apply for disability alone without her guidance. It is important
to know what to say and what not to say to an insurance company.
I found this out the hard way and I wish now I had found Linda
right from the beginning. Her knowledge of the claims process
and invaluable assistance as a claims expert helped me through
additional anguish; frustration and stress, not to mention
having to struggle with no income and losing my insurance while
being very ill. I am forever indebted to Linda for her
incredible knowledge, dedication and caring. She was always
available to me and went way beyond what was expected to help
me. Linda is truly a remarkable woman who has found her purpose
in life and works diligently and tirelessly for the cause of
helping people with debilitating illnesses. She is a saint in my
book.
A Reassessment Success…..Unum …..Donna
I wanted to take the opportunity to express my gratitude for
your invaluable assistance in my unbelievable journey with my
Long Term Disability claim with Unum. For the past three years I
braved the claims process in attempting to provide credible and
very reliable evidence that I “knew” would certainly have to be
the “last time” Unum could possibly treat me unfairly. However,
I couldn’t have been more wrong. After awhile it became
evident that it made absolutely no difference what I said or
what I sent to Unum to document my claim. I was on the brink of
bankruptcy and called Linda to help me as a claim professional.
You told me you would do what you could to assist me and we
gathered all of my medical information. As a result of your
expert case management my claim was approved within one month. I
thank you and pray that you will be able to help many others as
you did me. Thanks a bunch. Passion Makes an Immediate
Difference…..Unum….. Tracy
It was immediately apparent that Linda Nee’s claim experience,
expertise, and passion made a tremendous difference when trying
to navigate the often complicated and unscrupulous process of
defending and maintaining a payable disability claim. Linda’s
services offer an incredible return of investment for
individuals with an impairing disability that prevents them from
working and living. Linda Nee’s expert case management services
makes the difference of getting paid what is owed as a result of
a disability. I wouldn’t even pursue any disability claim
without her! Thank you, Linda.Perseverance is the
Key…..Unum…..John
Linda, I don’t know how I could ever thank you enough for all of
the time and work you put into helping me obtain my
long-term-disability benefits. Your experience in, and knowledge
of the disability insurance field is priceless. If it weren’t
for you and your case management skills I don’t know where my
family and I would have eventually wound up. This past year and
a half has taken its toll on me, and without you I probably
would have given up risking everything just to put dealing with
Unum behind me. The only regret I have in utilizing your
services is that I didn’t do it sooner. I wish I had known you
when I first started my claim and before the first denial of
benefits. There were many times I thought to myself, “I hope
Linda doesn’t say I think we’re just wasting our time”, or,
“this isn’t going anywhere”, and just give up. I’m so grateful
you didn’t. With each obstacle the insurance company threw you,
you so calmly stated what the next step was that we needed to
take together. You are truly amazing and treated my claim as if
it were your own. Please know that I would be happy to serve
as a reference for you should you ever need me. Rest assured
that should I ever come into contact with someone needing your
services, I wouldn’t hesitate to tell them to contact you. Thank
you so much. The Three C’s…..Unum Group…..Kelly
Caring, commitment and competency is how I can best explain
Linda Nee’s help when it came to my disability claim. Linda
helped guide me through the extremely difficult claims process
which included an “any occupation investigation”, an IME,
confusing paperwork and even being followed by an investigator.
Linda was there to help me prepare for every step of the way
with a caring, committed and competent hand to lend. She was
extremely knowledgeable and relieved so much of my stress. This
was very important to me as I am very sick and the stress that
Unum created for me exacerbated my already poor condition.
Linda was always available and easy to get in touch with. She
answered any questions I had and gave me an extraordinary amount
of personal attention. I would recommend Linda to anyone in need
of a disability income claims professional. I told all of my
doctors how helpful she has been to me and gave them her number
in case they had any patients in similar situations. I felt so
lucky to have found her on the Internet. It was the best thing I
could have done. Her caring, competent and committed work saved
my medical benefits as well and helped keep me going. I am
extremely indebted to her for her perseverance and successful
resolution of my claim. Going Through the Land
Mines…..Reliance Standard….Dennis
I would like to thank you for all of your guidance regarding my
disability claim. There were so many land mines that I was able
to avoid because of your expert case management skills. Your
assistance has always been above board and highly ethical. It
was your understanding of the claims process and the pitfalls
that made the smooth sailing possible. You said to me very early
in managing my claim, “honesty works!” I would not have known
what to be careful of without your expert assistance through the
land mines of the disability process with Reliance Standard.
Again, thank you for your time, consideration and friendship.
Even though we have never met, I feel you are indeed a close
personal friend. The Value of Valuable Information….. DRMS…..Tammy
I wanted to express to you my ultimate gratitude for all your
guidance with my disability claim. Your experience and knowledge
in the area of disability claims management, and how to go about
providing the insurance company with the necessary information
is an invaluable skill. You successfully helped me navigate
through the endless paperwork of managing my claim and helped me
fill out many, many forms. Your expertise and keen sense of
purpose no doubt resulted from your first hand claims
experience. I’m so grateful for you; you are incredible. You
were always there every step of the way to help me. I can say
with complete honesty that if I had not retained your services,
the process and on-going management of my claim would not have
gone so smoothly. I can say from personal experience that once
your claim has been approved by the insurance company, don’t
think that it will be smooth sailing and will be paid without
continued challenges.. You have to have someone on your side and
that person would be Linda. I feel so blessed to have found her.
She is by far the best in the disability claims management
field. I would be happy to whole-heartedly recommend you to
anyone going through this process. No professional should try to
go this alone. Not only have you been the best, you have also
been kind and caring. I thank you so much for being there for
me. You are a very special lady! Thanks for Saving My
Life and My Home…Met Life… Michelle
Linda…I want to thank you for assisting me in receiving long
term disability from my insurance carrier, Met Life. Without
your valuable advice, expertise and patience, I know that this
would not have been possible. This has been the most difficult
time in my life. I could not accept the fact that I was unable
to work and refused to file for LTD for quite some time. I kept
thinking my health was going to improve and that I would be able
to “pick up where I left off”. But, six months into my claim I
was mentally and physically exhausted. A dear friend urged me to
contact you so that I would avoid the pitfalls that his mother
experienced with handling her disability claim on her own. That
phone call to you saved my life. A year later, I am still
disabled and without your help I would have been in financial
ruin and worse. You helped me protect myself by focusing on my
health and not on worry about money. Your services covered a
wide range of areas that I wouldn’t have been able to handle on
my own. You gave me general and specific guidelines regarding
any verbal or written communication with the disability carriers
and my employer. You assisted me in preparing my benefit forms
and provided invaluable advice on how I might guide my attending
physicians to evaluate and write good restrictions and
limitations. I would recommend anyone who is in the situation
of having to file a disability claim to contact you immediately
before taking even the first step or answering the first
questions. Your services were worth every penny and I am
thankful for you. If anyone asks me how to go about the
disability process, I certainly will refer them to you. Thanks
again and God bless you. Linda Nee You are Truly
Awesome.....Unum Group…..Helen
Linda Nee you are truly awesome! You always found time for me.
You answered all of my emails and even expressed your concern
for me on many occasions. Heck, you even took the time to speak
to me on the phone many, many times. You gave great advice
concerning the disability claims process. You educated me.
Without your valuable help I was surely on my way to being
another Unum victim. I am forever grateful to you.I am a
better person for knowing you. I think of you often and where I
would be if I did not see your information on the Internet. You
are a courageous warrior for all of us who have to make the good
fight against Unum in order to receive benefits. It’s reassuring
to know that there are still people like you watching people
like me. I hope someday I can return a favor to you. If there is
ever anything that I can do for you, please ask.
Thanks…..Unum….. Bradley
I wanted to thank you for your help in resolving my issues with
Unum and paying back the retroactive lump sum from Social
Security. Although Unum was extremely aggressive in threatening
us financially, we appreciate that you were able to work with
the company so that we could continue to pay our medical bills
and provide for our children. Your professionalism is
remarkable. |
