THE HELP YOU NEED DURING THE CLAIIMS PROCESS:

Professional Consultants such as Linda Nee partner with the insured as an administrative guide through the complicated disability claims process. It can be very comforting to have an experienced professional who knows the territory of complex paper bureaucracies, medical requirements and timelines.

Applications and management of disability claims can be a very scary and complicated process for someone unfamiliar with their own individual or employer group benefit Plan.

As an experienced Consultant Linda Nee will also help you in the following additional ways:

  • Explain to you what to expect as you move through the complicated disability claims review and/or social security application process.

  • Prepare a timetable and list of tasks to be performed such as obtaining patient notes, signing Claimant Statements, and providing other required disability forms.

  • Explain what your disability insurer is looking for in terms of “proof of claim” and help you accumulate it.

  • Provide guidance and administrative assistance in completing the necessary paperwork as you move through the process from month to month.

  • Remain available and actively involved by answering questions and assisting you with problems which often arise as the insurance company periodically investigates your claim.

  • Provide reassurance that you are doing the right things, at the right time, in an appropriate manner, thus avoiding pitfalls and “red flags” in the claim review process.

  • Help you control your stress levels and manage the overwhelming fear, frustration, and anguish one often feels when dependent on an insurance company for financial support.

In addition, DCS stands out in the field of disability claims management with proven success rates resulting from actual claims training and experience:

  • High rates of successful resolutions for on-going claims management and assistance with appeals.

  • Fourteen years of actual “hands on” claims experience in the disability review business combined with “real time” training in the management of disability claims.

  • Claim file review services provided to attorneys upon request.

  • Referrals to qualified and experienced physician specialists with disability experience reporting, vocational experts, IME physicians, underwriters, experienced RN medical record reviewers, private investigators and other specialists.

  • Electronic books for self-help and education specifically for insureds with disability claims.

  • Monthly DCS, Inc. Newsletter provided to clients.

  • Lindanee’s Blog, an internet resource by and for those with private disability insurance.
